As the leading eye care provider for senior care facilities in the Midwest, the company is expanding and is seeking dedicated Optometrists to join its growing team!
As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in improving the vision and overall eye health of patients, ensuring they enjoy a better quality of life. You will be at the forefront of managing ocular diseases and delivering comprehensive eye care services to residents in senior living facilities.
Optometrist Responsibilities:Perform a mixture of intermediate and comprehensive eye exams on residents in senior living facilities. Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease. Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed. Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients. Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
Optometrist Qualifications:Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license. Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel to senior living facilities in designated areas. Compassion and empathy for the unique needs of elderly patients.
