The software tester has direct access to the machines and how they are controlled. They help ensure customers receive quality software that will keep Epiroc First in Choice.
The Role
Support RCS (Rig Control System) programs and technology optionsReview software requirements and preparation of test casesExecution of tests and accurate reporting of findingsAssist with documentation of software functionalityRoot cause analysis of production and field issuesPerform other duties as assigned
Skills/Experience Special Knowledge, Certification, or License:
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or the equivalent relevant work experienceAn understanding of electronics and hydraulic systemsExperience testing software or machineryAn understanding of control system logic is desirableA good understanding of RCS software, configurations, and options on RCS machines and devices is desirable
Work Experience (Minimum Required):
2 years in a heavy manufacturing environment
