Only Fully remote EST or CST preferred Role: MDM Application Engineer 2Location: Austin, Texas HybridJob: C2C Job Description: Working within their Master Data Management (MDM) imperatives focused around the Oracle platform. Mid to Senior level data integration engineer that has experience using the Oracle cloud integration product to build interfaces between sources and the MDM platforms and from MDM platforms and targets. Mostly working with data file exchanges – future consideration for using APIs. Should be proficient with data integration, minor skills to configure the MDM platform/data model for field additions/changes. Big plus is experience retrofitting the Oracle solution with an Azure DevOps model – Oracle MDM does not have a good DevOps process. Beyond the main Oracle skills and Azure DevOps, nice secondary skill is working within the Azure ecosystem (data lake, data factory, azure functions, etc.) Knowledege of SnapLogic is nice to have for future enablement of that platform into solution, primarily for APIS.Products include the following:· Oracle PDH (Product Data Hub) – Product domain· Oracle CDM (Customer Data Management) – Party Domain· Oracle Cloud Integration – data integration platform· Snaplogic – future integration technology for API and data integration· Azure – cloud platform for current DevOps and other workloadsThe Application Engineer 2 configures, implements and documents applications that provide the technical solutions to meet specifications and business requirements defined by company objectives to promote effective, efficient, and compliant operations. Essential Job Functions/Duties· Work as part of a project team to define and document the solutions for a variety of projects.· Technical responsibility for all stages of solution configuration to ensure compliance with application standards, architectural standards, and achievement of documented requirements.· Develop and maintain current state documentation and deliverables for solutions.· Maintain existing and new applications to ensure that they continue to meet user needs.· Provide assistance to operational teams to ensure continuity of service.· Work with the Application Engineering community of practice to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.· Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills· Performs other duties as assigned· Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.· May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.· Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities· Performs work under minimal supervision.· Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills· Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization· Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision· Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations· Ability to manage tasks independently; take ownership of responsibilitiesMinimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related degree; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background.· 4 to 6 years of experience· Experience with enterprise application configuration and implementation.· Experience with integrations between applications and databases.· Experience with software development or scripting languages preferred. Physical Requirements/Work Environment· Works under general office environment conditions· Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.· Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA· Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferencesInternational and domestic travel as required Thanks & Regards
