About The Role

As a Software Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.

About The Team

The Digital One Technical Delivery Implementations team builds and delivers customized FIS solutions based on microservices architecture for containerized cloud-ready infrastructure. The development stream leverages Agile methodologies - our team’s role is to build source code and promote artifacts through to releasable status. We are focusing on pipeline automation of everything – builds, tests, scans, configuration, database and deploys – with metrics collection.

What You Will Be Doing

Help shape and build our next gen pipeline deployment infrastructure Create/maintain/improve automation that builds and deploys environments for client focused testing and implementation teamsManage deployments to environments in coordination with release management – with focus on automating promotionMonitor, troubleshoot, and remediate build and deployment issuesEngage with Development teams to optimize a commit-based build pipeline, debugging as neededWrite Jenkins groovy shared library framework, Ansible and other toolsConfigure and run Maven build jobsAutomate execution of QA test suitesMetrics collection and dashboardingMaintain Git and Artifactory repository structuresProvision and configure Kubernetes/Openshift namespacesPackage releases with Helm chartsDatabase automation with Liquibase, collaborating with DBA teamsAdvocate for best practices when it comes to DevOps processes, culture and 12-factor application design

What You Will Need

Experience building CICD pipelines with promotion to multiple environmentsUnderstanding of DevOps best practicesExperience building applications with MavenSolid experience with Git-based source repositoriesExperience using Cloud services such as Microsoft Azure Service or AWSExperience with container-based platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS/EKSExperience using Helm as package manager for container applicationsExperience and knowledge with a monitoring tool such as ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, AppDynamics, etcProgramming or scripting with Bash, Go, Python, and similar languageExperience with API based applications– test tools and conceptsSQL and Database – Good SQL query writing skills with exposure to Oracle DatabasesInfrastructure and networking experienceStrong communication and organization skills to work with internal teams

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $75,590.00 - $123,220.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
