We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in TIG welding, preferably in the aviation or aerospace industry. The TIG Welder will be responsible for welding a variety of materials, including aluminum, titanium, Inconel and stainless steel, to produce precision components for aircraft.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirementsSet up and operate TIG welding equipment according to welding proceduresWeld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positionsInspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsMaintain welding equipment and work area in a clean and orderly conditionFollow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environmentCollaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience in TIG weldingExperience with aviation or aerospace welding preferredKnowledge of welding techniques and proceduresAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and qualityGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift and carry heavy objectsCertification in TIG welding is a plus (AWS D17)
