Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Microservice Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for leading and driving the architectural direction of our microservices-based digital transformational project. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures.

Work Location: Las Vegas(Onsite all 5 days)

Requirements

Strong understanding of Microservice architectures, principles, and patternsExperience with creating Solution designing, UML modeling, and sequence diagrams using tools such as Visio, draw.io, lucid charts, etcExperience with designing distributed systems and Event-driven architecture using Kafka and Java Spring Boot FrameworkExperience with REST API ModelingSolid understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL database modeling and designFamiliarity with AWS cloud infrastructuresSolid understanding of CI/CD pipeline, Artifactory, and Static code analysis toolsExperience with Java SpringFamiliarity with Finance Domain – Good to have

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be $125,00 to $150,000 and reflects base salary only. This does not include any additional bonus/variable compensation, benefits, etc that may be applicable to the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Job Responsibilities

Gather required technology inputs, make required Assumptions, and develop High-level Architecture and detailed Technical DesignEvaluate new technologies and build POCsDefine REST API Model, Event SchemaDefine Data Mode using RDBMSParticipate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution, exploring solution alternativesWork hands-on with the development team to prepare/review detailed Technical Design, do code reviews, and ensure delivery as per committed estimates with high-qualityWork with scrum teams to promote a strong sense of DevOps as a culture, driving release infrastructure improvements through improved CI/CD processes
