Job Description:We are looking for a self-motivated and collaborative Accountant to learn and take ownership of their work. This exciting opportunity will work closely and be supported by a team of colleagues, strong leadership and experienced third party consultants! A day in the life of the GrubMarket accounting team is filled with learning, growing, creating, hard work, and most of all fun!To successfully deliver in a fast paced working environment you will responsible for:
- Potential Responsibilities:Reconcile assigned bank and credit card accounts.
- Assist with preparing and recording journal entriesAssist with assigned account reconciliations.
- Participate in assigned activities for month-end close.
- Assist with audit requests.
- The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned under the direction of the Director of Accounting Operations.
Qualifications:1+ years working as an accountant, auditor, or similar accounting-focused roleBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related fieldHighly motivated and detail orientedReliable and Diligent Work EthicFamiliarity with US GAAP Accounting PrinciplesPublic accounting experience, Big 4 accounting firm preferred
