RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Performs cash handling duties for pharmacy customers Provides superlative customer service for all customers Answers telephone and assists customers Assists pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication Receives and stores incoming supplies Completes data entry for customers including: patient information, drug, doctor, prescription, third party billing, DUR (Drug Utilization Review) screening, and other third party requirements Orders, returns, and reconciles DSD and warehouse inventories Participates in training and developing of new partners
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience High school diploma (or equivalent) 1-2 years experience as a pharmacy technician necessary State Certification for Pharmacy Technicians
