Lead MLOps EngineerNew York, New York - Onsite$180,000-200,000 base salary + equity + benefitsHarnham is partnered with an accounting tech startup in the New York City area. They are looking for a Machine Learning Operations Engineer with a background in deploying and scaling large-scale ML/AI platforms using regulated data. This person will sit in their Engineering team and partner with stakeholders across the business.
THE ROLEYou will deploy machine learning models to support new and existing platforms in accounting technologyYou will report directly into the VP of Machine Learning and work closely on technical directionOwn development of new PoCs and quickly build into production, using regulated data across finance and insuranceYou will implement and design code and build out to production using various machine learning techniquesPotential to grow into thought leader role for MLOps within the business
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThe successful Lead MLOps Engineer will likely have the following skills and experience:5+ years of commercial experience preferred with a focus on deploying machine learning modelsExperience working in a startup or dynamic environment a plusFluent in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for production-grade workCommercial experience building novel AI platforms with large datasetsCloud experience in AWS preferredHistory of working on models from concept to production / end-to-endFamiliarity with advanced machine learning approaches for applications with accounting, legal, insurance claims, fraud detection or other regulated domainsExperience in settings wearing multiple hatsHistory of partnering with non-technical stakeholders a plusBS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
