Senior MLOps EngineerREMOTE$160,000-180,000 base salary + equity + benefitsHarnham is partnered with a dynamic fintech startup in the New York City area. They are looking for a Machine Learning Operations Engineer with a background in deploying and scaling large-scale ML/AI platforms using financial data. This person will sit in their Engineering team and partner with stakeholders across the business.
THE ROLEYou will deploy machine learning and LLM models to support new and existing platforms in financeYou will report directly into the VP of Engineering and work closely on technical directionOwn development of new PoCs and quickly build into production, using millions of pages of data per projectYou will implement and design code and build out to production using various machine learning and LLM techniquesPotential to grow into thought leader role for MLOps within the business
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThe successful Senior MLOps Engineer will likely have the following skills and experience:4+ years of commercial experience preferred with a focus on deploying machine learning modelsExperience working in a startup highly preferredHeavy experience using Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for production-grade workCommercial experience building novel AI platforms with large datasetsCloud experience in AWS preferredHistory of working on models from concept to production / end-to-endFamiliarity with advanced machine learning approaches relating to large language models / LLMsExperience in settings wearing multiple hatsHistory of partnering with non-technical stakeholders a plusBS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
