In the role of Drinking Water Intern, you will get a chance to:
Gain real-world experience on municipal and federal water infrastructure projects Engage yourself in different types of projects and coordinate regularly with our team Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer and/or Project Manager Perform regular tasks such as calculations, technical writing, communicate with vendors/clients, prepare cost estimates, modify design drawings, research design standards, and more Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professional’s programs Learn about being an employee owner and experience our unique company culture
Required Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate engineer program related to the water industryAttention to detail a mustMust possess strong problem-solving and communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPADemonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industryInterested in full time employment with HDR upon completion of internship
