Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Electrical Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:
- Support electrical design by professional electrical engineers including electrical calculations: ampacity, voltage drop, and conduit sizing.
- Perform field visits.
- Based on equipment cut sheets, do layout of equipment and devices, drawings interpretation, attending meetings, preparation of markups, back check of markups implementation.
- Offer real-world experience on exciting projectsConnect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programsApply standard engineering techniques and proceduresPerform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project ManagerPerform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering programAttention to detail a mustMust possess strong problem-solving and communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPAPursuing a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering major in power engineering. Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industryfamiliarity with software tools such as Bluebeam Revu, BIM 360, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.

The expected compensation range for this position is $24 - $26 hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
