Heatmap News is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial business development manager to drive the launch and growth of a new subscription-based B2B clean energy vertical.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean energy, a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, and the proven ability to sell premium products in a consultative manner to a sophisticated clientele.
Key Responsibilities:● Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve subscription sales targets within the renewable energy sector.● Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with stakeholders in the clean energy industry.● Stay abreast of the latest developments in clean energy, including news, policy changes, and technological advancements, to effectively communicate the value of Heatmap to potential subscribers.● Provide insightful product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the unique features and benefits of our evolving platform.● Collaborate with the editorial and development teams to provide feedback from the market and help shape the growth of Heatmap.● Navigate complex sales cycles, engaging with multiple stakeholders within potential client organizations.
Candidates should be passionate about Heatmap's mission and absolutely thrilled about building something from the ground up. The salary minimum, which includes base plus sales commission, is $100,000 and the maximum is $125,000. Competitive benefits, unlimited paid time off, and a generous equity plan, which gives employees a real stake in the company, are also offered. This position is remote.
