Provides direction and consultation in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervisor and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Provides remote consultative and supportive nursing care utilizing in room camera and technology from a remote location. Collaborates with providers and nurses to provide timely intervention for critically ill patients to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Education & Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a critical care nurse required. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Requires current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; ACLS, BLS. CCRN preferred.
