SHIFT HOURS: 1st shift

CAN THE WORKER WORK REMOTE: No
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BS Biology, Biochemistry, or other relevant BS science degree.
INTERVIEW PROCESS: 1st round, phone interview with me. 2nd round, Teams interviews with interviewers on my team that I will select.
IS THERE A LIKELIHOOD OF AN EXTENSION PAST THE INITIAL DURATION: I cannot confirm an extension, but I do believe that an extension will be granted due to project needs this year and next year. There is always the possibility that the contract can be discontinued based on project needs before the expected duration.
IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THE WORKER COULD BE TRANSITIONED TO AN *** FULL TIME EMPLOYEE: There is always a possibility of conversion based on project needs, however I do not think it is likely at this point.
Desired experience: PCR, nucleic acid extraction, serial dilutions, human specimen handling, aseptic technique, data analysis, DNA sequencing analysis.
Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting scientific staff in carrying out research assignments involving a variety of laboratory methods, equipment and procedures.
Conducts basic laboratory bench experiments. Participates in analysis and organization of data for presentations. Writes experimental summaries and technical reports for own data. Completes paperwork by assigned completion dates. Carries out assigned laboratory tasks. Monitor and maintain laboratory notebooks. Operate lab equipment and perform routine maintenance and or repair.?
