Roles and Responsibilties:Designing and planning of client infrastructure both physical and VMs end to end from switch, brocade switch storage and backup. Designing and configuring Storage arrays like Isilon , Pure and Compellent. Configuring Linux and Windows servers from scratch. Building Cohesity systems for Backup solution and performing regular upgrade. Managing elevated level of backup availability with help of Commvault. Enabling Backup to clients from Scratch including Backup NIC enablement from VMware Vcenter, Backup NIC creation Backup IP assignment from OS and Agent installation and configuration. Upgrading version of service pack & hotfixes on all Commvault backup infra, Cohesity, NetBackup, Isilon, Netapps. Experience with Tape libraries. Experience in Installation, configuration, management, troubleshooting, Vaulting, Deduplication, Restoration and upgradation of Backup and Storage software. Restoration of file level, VM backups, and various database backups including SQL, Oracle using backup tools. Managing Disks drives, boot drives, DIMM replacement in Storage.
