Sterile Processing Technician Responsibilities

Sterile Processing Technician Skills

Minimum of three years sterile processing experience Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRSCT) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technian (CSPDT) or a similar active certification Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge Strong understanding of sterile processing techniques and procedures Knowledge of physiology to understand the purpose and function of surgical instruments Ability to operate sterilization equipment effectively and safely Attention to detail to ensure proper cleaning, assembly, and packaging of surgical instruments Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals.
