Responsibilities: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for inventory accuracy by uncovering and investigating discrepancies using financial analysis and investigative techniques. This includes identifying failures of systems and processes in an effort to minimize unaccounted shrinkage of inventory.

Conducts inspections of inventory records to identify potential discrepancies and errorsImplement forensic accounting techniques to analyze and interpret inventory dataDevelop and implement strategies to prevent and detect inventory-related errorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to establish effective internal controlsUse advanced data analysis tools to examine inventory transactions Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and recorded system levelsPrepare detail reports documenting findings and recommended actionsMinimum 2 years of experience in inventory control/inventory managementExperience in managing RM, WIP, FG inventoriesEffective communication skills to provide training and guidance to staff on best practicesExcellent attention to detail
