Junior Data Analytics Engineer

The role will provide a unique opportunity for candidates to work on a platform with large volume of data and learn the capital and derivative markets. As a Data Analytics intern, you will engage in challenging projects related to data analysis, datamining, report development and automation and enrich your knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of data driven solutions for business and generate actionable business insight Use data to create models that depicts trends and patterns of informationProcess and analyze large volumes of data Story board, create, and publish standard reports and data visualizationsDocument development work and provide status on progress. Proficient in python with expertise in python libraries related to Data AnalysisWrite SQL queries for ad-hoc analysis

Knowledge And Experience

Working towards a Bachelor’s Or Master’s degree in data science/ statistics/engineering/math/quantitative analytics or a related quantitative discipline requiredExperience using visualization tools like Tableau Desktop and Tableau OnlineGood knowledge of SQL and database conceptsData preparation skills using Alteryx, Python or R codingStrong data analysis skills including skills to rapidly learn new data assets. Knowledge of data science techniquesAdvanced communication skills with the ability to summarize findings and present in a clear, concise manner to peers, management, and others
