Inventory Control Associate

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will work in a fast paced, agile, and constantly growing environment. Your daily work will consist of analyzing material movements and slotting Inventory appropriately to maximize picking efficiency. This position is important to the proper functioning of the distribution center.

Inventory Control is a team within the global supply chain organization that supports all the lines of business within IDEXX. We do this by providing high quality work that enables our teams as well as our end customers to improve the health and wellbeing of pets, people and livestock.

In This Role

Your primary function for this position will be slotting of material in our forward pick areas. You will maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse and environment. You will Investigate and resolve inventory inaccuracies and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actionsYou will support inventory processes, solutions, and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting and reporting. You will move and store equipment, and inventory for internal and external customers. Perform a variety of other inventory activities as needed.

What You Will Need To Succeed

You are a positive, open minded and flexible team player that is excited to be a part of a high performing team. You possess a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates degree or equivalent preferred. You have the ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraints and effectively function in a team environment. Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ideally you have good computer skills and knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel. You are able to properly lift up to 70 pounds; ability to move up to 100 pounds with assistance. You have experience using a variety of powered industrial trucks.
