Non Inventory Buyer to process requests to purchase goods and services in accordance with procurement policies and procedures
- Duties: Process requests to purchase goods and services in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare bid documentation for procurement of materials and services.
- Post bids on public bidding sites.
- Prepare appropriate approval documentation for the award.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including executives and clients.
- Manage project documentation and ensure that project files are up-to-date and accessible.
- Provide vacation and absence coverage for MBTA Mailroom.
- Perform all other duties and projects that may be assigned.
