Middleware Consultant

Job Description:Infosys is seeking a Middleware Support Executive to review the technical needs and recommend solutions to Business analysts and various lines of Business for our client. This role is responsible for providing solutions for various Middleware technologies covering AIP Liberty Profile, MQ, MQ MFT, MQ Appliance, DataPower, APIC, ODM, ACE (Broker). This role will monitor, maintain, and fix any incident that is disrupting the Middleware Service that business users depend on, while ensuring high levels of security and compliance for our onsite. The role will also be responsible for analyzing the impact of any changes to the application, unavailability of application and take appropriate actions including user communication.

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of El Dorado Hills or Long Beach, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.• At least 4 years of experience of Information Technology experience.• At least 3 years of experience with setup and maintenance of WebSphere Liberty Profile.• Professional in installation and configuration of WebSphere Liberty Profile.• Experience in WebSphere patching activities and upgrade of JDK in application environment.• Working on certificates in WebSphere Liberty Profile.• Migration activity in WebSphere Liberty Profile – Migrating the applications from old to new servers.• Hands on experience with enterprise web applications, systems and supporting technologies including firewalls, load balancing, Apache, and Tomcat.• Deployment experience with J2EE, EJB, JSP, and XML based solutions.• Must have experience in Middleware Tools – DataPower, WebSphere Application Server (WAS) + Liberty Profile

Preferred Qualifications: • Design, install, configure, and maintain the WebSphere suite for the Enterprise Service Bus /Middleware infrastructure (IBM Integration Broker, IBM MQ, IBM MQ Appliance, IBM Transaction eXtender, IBM API Connect, WebSphere Application Server, DataPower and Sterling File Gateway).• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to methodically identify research and resolve complex issues in middleware environment.• Experience in supporting mission critical web-based Application.• Good Understanding and knowledge on DataPower.• Good Understanding on Linux/Unix• Analyze Enterprise Service Bus/J2EE middleware systems performance, collect information, and prepare summary reports.• Strong analytical and product management skills required.• Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.• Strong technical documentation skills• Availability to work outside of traditional office hours
