Senior Pega Engineer

We’re Looking for a Senior Pega EngineerOur team is looking for someone who has a passion for developing performant and robust Pega applications while supplying the continued evaluation and advancement of Pega technologies in a given organization. We’re looking for a natural consultant who can build and maintain relationships in financial and tech environments. The ideal candidate will be a driver of process, accountability, customer engagement, and strategy. This will be driven from a proven ability to plan and execute scalable strategies, superior client management, escalation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. At InRhythm, You WillBe responsible for driving the design and implementation of Pega case management systems and business process automation for consumer businesses. Work with stakeholders, call center agents and interfacing teams to build business-critical case management and business process automation applications that will enable us to provide an industry leading user experience. Identify pitfalls ahead of time, raising concerns, and managing expectations with all stakeholders. Facilitate and develop process workflow required to support implementation of engineering solutions. Process model design and development, integrations, and general implementation of Pega components. Create sophisticated, research-based prototypes that showcase the designed solutions to stakeholders, technologists, and users. Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and address defects. Collaborate with globally located cross functional teams in building customer-centric retail consumer banking products or supporting services. Build trusted partnerships with product managers, vendors, and external partners. Define and break out epics/features for others, while maintaining a sense of the whole picture. Work in a cross-functional agile team to deliver working software incrementally. Help InRhythm’s technology division by collaborating on the interviewing pipeline, mentoring less-experienced engineers, hosting tech talks and workshops, identifying industry trends to discuss, and participating in practice activities. Requirements5+ years of professional engineering experience with Pega 7 and Pega 8 platform implementation2+ years of SQL relational database engineering experienceExperience with Pega and Pega Collections features, such as - Activity & AnalysisAssistance Program Enrollment (allow customers to enroll in payment plans)Business Process Management (BPM)Case Creation Logic, Case Management Functionality (creating/managing lifecycle of a collections case), Case Prioritization (Agent Productivity)Collections Data Model (i.e. contact, case, assistance program)Communications (triggering calls or chats to customers)Contact Strategy (logic to determine the contact channel for a customer)Decision Strategy Manager (leverage AI and NLP to analyze customer moods)Inbound/Outbound Interaction Setup (searching inbound call or enabling automated popup for dialer calls)Payments Scheduling (processing one-time payments (OTP), procure-to-pay (PTP), or Autopay)Policy Regulations and ControlsRules Process Commander (PRPC)Experience with Pega technical features, such as the following:A/B TestingAgent Experience (UI and screens)Data Persistence (PTP / case depositions / attempts)Functional LogicLive Statistics (progress in a transactional flow)Reporting Feed for Analytics (send feeds to other series)Role Authorization / Authentication (determine access controls for specific user roles)Rules Configuration and Execution (contact strategy)Workflow (case management)Experience with the following responsibilities:Developing and managing Pega Workflows, User Interfaces, Activities, Utility and Decision rulesUsing APIs to integrate the Pega platform with other micro-servicesWorking with Web Services including REST or SOAPBuilding integrations using Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC)Designing integration components using Pega FrameworksPerformance Tuning including Performance Analyzer (PAL), Log Analyzer, DB Tracer or PreflightWorking on projects using Agile MethodologyDesigning, developing, integrating and testing Pega's customer decision hub framework applications to support implementations for different lines of businesses.
