Application Developer (Java/Javascript/SQL)

DAY TO DAYDesign, develop, and maintain software applications in Java/JavaScript/ SQL Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the new system integrator the company is bringing on and the business side of the new application. Participate in project meetings and development tasks that need to be completed. Document existing interfaces, processes, and create the technical design components of the application. This individual will have a number of coding assignments and will be responsible for learning and understanding the new system integrator the company is bringing on, as currently they have little knowledge about the new application. They will also spend time understanding the business side of the new application, such as why the application exists and how it is used. By documenting existing interfaces, processes, and creating the technical design components of the application, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the project. MUST HAVESBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related field3+ years of experience designing, developing and maintaining software applications in Java/JavaScriptProficiency working with SQL and T-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server db environmentStrong analytical skills and communication (verbal and written) PLUSSESPrior experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)Prior experience working with GitHub/Jira for DevOp and data flowsHands-on experience working in RedHat Linux
