Required Skills and Experience *- 3-5 years of building maintenance experience or commensurate experience in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)-Ability to lead up preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, plumbing and electrical systems-Experience with chillers, chilled water systems, boilers, and hot water systems-Ability to carry up to 50lbs a distance of over 30 feet without assistance-HVAC training-Strong computer skills-High school diploma or GED equivalent
Job Description *A Real Estate Asset Management client of Insight Global is seeking a Building Engineer to sit 5 days a week onsite in Naperville, IL. The building engineer will have oversight of the tenant property and handle the day-to-day operations for the locations. Tenant issues may range from tenant improvement work to preventive maintenance and repair of all building systems including but not limited to HVAC, heating, cooling, boiler, chiller, and hardware systems. All improvements and maintenance will be done in a manner that not only protects, but also maximizes the value of the property. Additional daily responsibilities may include reviewing life safety/fire/sprinkler systems, elevator logs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting building inspections.
