Must Haves:1+ years of distribution design experience -- specifically underground experience (highly preferred)AutoCAD experienceExperience using one of the following: G-TECH + WorkPRO (inventory system), BOUD + MAXIMO, Design Manager + WMS + Electric Office, Pole Foreman, voltage drop calculations, and/ or Cable pulls
Plusses:Prior experience in the utilities industryLHU (Lateral Hardening Undergrounding)LHO (Lateral Hardening Overhead)
Day-to-Day:Insight Global's client is looking for a Distribution Designer in Tampa, FL. This person will be supporting a project doing hand-on design of underground plans for overhead feeders. This position is onsite five days a week because they are an energetic, collaborative group. They communicate very directly and this team have grown from 4 people to 50+ in 3 years so this is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a company to grow with long-term!
Compensation: $25hr to $35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
