Electromechanical Technician

A company is looking for an Electromechanical Technician in the Arvada, CO area (Typically M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm). The Pump Tech take direction from the Project Manager or VP and will play a crucial role in disassembly, repair, and reassembly of Industrial Pump systems for various industries (water, chemical, sewage, oils, etc.). The technician can work alone or with helpers - Responsibilities include 50% field work along the front range in a company truck, including working on pumps, motors, controls, pipes, and valves for various clients as well as 50% hands on shop work, such documenting your work, inspecting parts, ordering components, painting and testing systems. They may work with CNC Mill/Lathe machining and welding if they have the required skillset. The technician needs to be able to handle sewage, hazardous liquids, confined spaces, and high voltage, and should be able to communicate well with clients, suppliers, and company staff, and use basic computer and blueprint reading skills. The technician must have personal hand and portable electric tools.
