Manager Data Management

The Data, Insight, & Analytics (DIA) team at Insight Global drives organization-wide reporting, data science, data governance and machine learning initiatives at scale. The Manager of Master Data Management in DIA will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining robust data management practices across the organization. For this role, Insight Global is looking for someone who is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles. This position requires someone who can lead initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability, enabling informed data-driven decision-making enterprise-wide with an initial focus on mastery of customer and financial data domains. With the goal of turning Insight Global into a world class data company.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:development strategy of data domain roadmap informed by best practices and value-driven decision making. This strategy will start focused on the customer domainrelationships, data models, and data structures required for integrated databusiness processes and procedures that impact data to maintain data integrity and qualityall requirements needed to meet the analytical goals desired by the various business areasto develop automated solutions around customer data and overall duplicate managementcross-functionally to ensure that data engineers, data architects, and other relevant data resources understand strategy, solution design, development, delivery and operation goalsand maximize leverage of digital technologies into the data management strategy including Automation, advanced analytics, etc. Improve data quality through focused data governance programs and processesfor the design and implementation of strategies to ensure comprehensive data governance practices that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirementspolicies, standards, and procedures to ensure the effective management and use of dataoverall data quality within the data catalog, including identifying, monitoring, and prioritization of issuesand address data quality issues through root cause analysis and proactive measuresrisks, issues and decisions are escalated to senior leadershipwith all front-line business units and functional groups by translating data governance requirements into actionable business processes

Must Haves:2+ years of experience in data governance and/or data management in complex corporate environments; including MDM design, development, support and operations using MDM suite of toolsExperience with relevant tools and technologies in the data management spaceAbelto operate at both strategic and tactical levels, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and make data-driven decisionsGood communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with business, Analytics, and IT stakeholdersPluses:Experience with Customer data preferredFocus on strategy of incorporating data warehouse with automation suiteFocus on continual improvement and data quality
