Must-haves * Professional Engineering licensure * Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management * The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel. * Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite * At least 10 years of experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines including route selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, and development of construction bid packages * PLS-CADD proficiency * Experience managing projects and leading multi-disciplined teams
Plusses * Electric utility industry experience * Distribution design experience * Experience using POLE, TOWER and FAD Tools software packages * Cost estimating and scheduling
Day-to-Day Insight Global is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer for our Overhead Transmission design team. The candidate has the option of office-based work in the Southeast Florida market; or remote (or hybrid) from a mutually acceptable location. This position has a flexible work schedule, full-time and part-time options are available.
