📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Join us in an exciting role where you'll oversee various aspects of event planning and coordination, ensuring seamless experiences for our attendees. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in executing our flagship conferences and other events, leaving a lasting impact on our community. Responsibilities:Registration:Manage registration processes for our flagship conferences and future events. Recommend optimal locations and setups for registration areas. Supervise onsite registration personnel. Check-in attendees and distribute conference materials. Process complimentary registrations and provide post-conference reporting. Stay updated on registration technology and suggest improvements. Maintain inventory of registration supplies. Ensure accuracy of registration databases and track continuing education credits. Meeting Planning/Events:Research and recommend venues for in-person events. Coordinate logistics for both in-person and virtual events. Manage communication with vendors, speakers, and attendees. Coordinate review processes for presentations. Create and maintain event information in databases. Coordinate online event rehearsals and ensure high-quality production. Prepare and distribute post-event reports. Requirements:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software. Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience. CMP or CMM certification is a plus. Previous association experience preferred. Competencies:Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Effective project management abilities. Strong customer service orientation. Interpersonal skills and conflict resolution. Regularly required to talk and hear. Work environment: professional office environment with moderate noise levels.
Work Location: Tampa, FL (onsite)Contract Duration:3-6 Months (could potentially role perm)TravelNo travel however depending how well this person does they could potentially ask them to travel to their fall Conference, which would be in Las Vegas in September 2024.
