Role Overview
The Business Planner is responsible for sales analyses, reporting and planning for the wholesale department. This individual is responsible for identifying opportunities and liabilities and devising strategies to optimize sales.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to
Develop, maintain, and report on detailed seasonal and fiscal sales budgets and forecasts, working closely with Wholesale teams to set sales budgets, identifying risks and opportunities. Develop and implement internal reporting applications / planning systems / databases including: Business performance by account and by department Bookings history and distribution databases and summaries Shipping/budget status updates Market share/sell-out reporting tools Monitor and evaluate distribution strategies Provide analytical support needed to wholesale, finance, logistics and executive teams Partner with IT team to maintain and support reporting needs
Key Requirements
5+ years of retail or wholesale planning experience Advanced Excel skills. Ability to analyze sales data Strong written and oral communication skills. Luxury goods experience a plus Experience as Buyer, Account Executive combined with current planning/finance job a plus Microsoft Access skills a plus
