A Bit About Us
Well-known, established, and stable aviation company, located in Lutz, Florida, in search of an experienced Software Engineer who is well-versed with flight simulation software. This is a direct-hire opportunity and you will work on cutting-edge prototypes for a brand new flight simulator project we are implementing. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, test, and documentation for software in a flight simulator model.

Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, test, and document flight simulator software for flight dynamics modelsCreate, maintain, conduct flight test data collection plansDevelop Qualification Test Guide tests and documentation to validate flight dynamics modelsParticipate in customer acceptance and regulatory qualification of flight simulator training devicesPerform hardware/software integration & testing on flight simulator training devices
Qualifications
Experience developing and integrating flight dynamic modelsExperience creating Qualification Test GuidesBachelor's degree in EngineeringUnderstanding of longitudinal and lateral-directional flight dynamicsKnowledge of aircraft systems, specifically propulsion, flight controls, and ground reaction forcesExperience integrating/testing aircraft OEM aerodynamic models preferredFixed-wing flight dynamics and flight simulation industry experience preferredProficiency with C/C++, Python, Linux/Unix, and Shell scripting is a plusFlight testing experience is a plus
