Key Responsibilities

Executes and monitors manufacturing processes according to operational procedures. Prioritizes based on production schedule. Coordinates and leads day-to-day activities in the production manufacturing area as vital, in alignment with immediate or direct supervision. Monitors assigned areas and reallocates resources as necessary to meet schedule requirements within the department. Demonstrates leadership skills to build a team-based, non-threatening environment that promotes teamwork and open exchanges of ideas. Become skilled in using and inspiring others on factory information systems. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED required. An Associates Degree is helpful.

Experience and Skills

Required

A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience directly required. Basic Computer and database leadership skills. Must have mechanical skills and provide documentation of these skills and experience, upon request. Solid understanding of basic hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches, snips, cutters) and inspection equipment (i.e. optical comparators, micrometers, microscopes, plug gauges). Working knowledge of shop math such as decimals, fractions, and tolerances.

Requires ability and flexibility to work operational hours of 01:30 PM to 10:00 PM Monday-Friday, plus time for communication and overtime as appropriate. Able to read, understand, explain, and measure performance concerning process and quality documents. Work in a team environment behaving in a CREDO-based supportive manner. Align with all federally supervised programs. Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines. Follow all job-specific safety procedures and apply PPE when vital.
