The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Material Handler to work at our facility in Springfield, MO. Ideal candidates must be motivated to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment. This position requires individuals to perform duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Schedule

We are a 24/7 facility offering both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts as well as 12-hour rotating shifts. Work schedule is dependent on position.

Responsibilities & Duties

Job Responsibilities

Records kept as required on manual, computer, and other systems. Scanning accuracy to/from Distribution. Relieves other personnel as needed. Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned by Team Leader. Must be PIV Certifiable. Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in MES applications. Back-up & relief support for Receiving Office, MOTC, Cheese Dock, CSR, Shock Watch duties, Order Pull, KPIP, Line Pulls, Palletizer Operations, Sanitation duties for DC positions to support 7-day operation as required by DC Leadership. Need to be capable of performing all hourly DC positions, including but not limited to upgrade positions. Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes. Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge Basic math, reading, and communication. Working Environment Primarily indoor; in a cooler where temperature is near 36-40 degrees; dock area is cold to hot depending on the season.

Qualifications

Able to acquire all PIV licenses. 3-Wheel, 4-Wheel, 4-Wheel High, High-Reach Side-Winder, Hand Jack, Walkie Rider, Clamp Truck, Slip-Sheeter; along with additional equipment acquired at our facility meant for Distribution use. Must be able to accurately perform systems such as; Matrics, SAP, MS Office, Vision Pro; along with additional systems which may be acquired for our facility. Must be certified in material handling (battery changing as needed).

Physical Requirements

Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, ascending, and descending. Must be capable of moving up to 50 pounds and/or +50 pounds with helpHolds and grips object; must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment and disassemble and reassemble equipment

Over 1,000 employees make up the team at the Springfield facility. A variety of cheese products (Sliced/Chunk/Shred), and pasta Mac & Cheese meals are produced at this location.
