Job Highlights
Safe and efficient operations of the Alkyl Bromides area by completing, supporting, and participating in all assigned tasksEnsure all Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Production policies, procedures, SOPs, and regulations related to the area are followedMonitor the process in the field and/or in control room to identify and report unusual and unsafe conditionsAbility to cross train on all operations within the areaIdentify routine maintenance requirementsPerform minor maintenance to piping and equipment as neededParticipate in activities, meetings, and projects which will enhance plant safety, environmental, reliability, cost, and production performanceOperation of complex chemical processes utilizing defined standard operation proceduresParticipate in continuous improvement projects as required
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to perform multiple functions simultaneouslyAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerAbility to lift 50lbsMust be a team playerMust be able to work twelve-hour rotating day/night shifts and overtime as requiredPrevious experience in operations is a plusMechanical aptitude (working with pipe wrenches and tools needed for plant activities and minor maintenance)Experience in operating a forklift or ability to learnParticipation in plant safety and environmental programsDemonstrate behavior consistent with site standards and coach others to do the sameMust maintain and continually improve the housekeeping standards of the area

Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program. The starting pay for this position is $25.34 per hour. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
