Title: Sr. Electronic Repair TechnicianRate: $22-27/hr6 month contract-to-hire Location: ONSITE - Louisville, KY, 40218, USA (This is a non-negotiable for the client, please do not apply if you are not already located in the Louisville Metro area and willing to travel daily)
Ideal candidates will have an advanced level of experience repairing electronic devices. The ideal candidate would have experience doing board level troubleshooting and component repairs on electronic devices and circuits. Candidates with supervisor or lead technician experience are a plus.

Advanced electronic repair technician with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits and equipmentAbility to troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipmentAbility to operate a soldering and rework stationAbility to train associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipmentAbility to lead a team, organize and oversee projectsKnowledge to load operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as requiredWorking knowledge to update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systemsAbility to work within a team environment and use effective communication
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic circuits and equipmentOperate a soldering and rework stationTrain associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipmentLead a team, organize and oversee projectsPerform electronic component replacementNavigate and investigate electronic controls interfacesLoad operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as requiredUpdate IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systemsMaintain an accurate and organized inventory of partsRepair mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devicesWork within a team environment and use effective communicationCommunicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issuesUtilize company email system to send and receive messagesComplete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashionComply with all department and company policies and procedures
