📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A New York law firm is seeking a UCC Legal Assistant to work closely with attorneys within the highly successful Finance Practice. This position involves:
Drafting and reviewing UCC statements as well as lien searchesCoordinating filings and searches with external vendors. Maintaining and organizing client documents, obtaining good standing certificates, and reviewing schedules for security documents. Supporting attorneys with pre-closing, closing, and post-closing matters.
Requirements
At least two years of UCC experience and a bachelor’s degree. Must be able to meet deadlines and manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with others and apply strong attention to detail.
