📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Legal.io is working with a leading mental healthcare provider looking to retain a mid-level commercial counsel on a contract basis, part-time (20 hours/wk), for an initial 2-month term.
- Work to be done:Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to customer contracts, procurement and vendor agreements, partnership agreements, confidentiality agreements, and service agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, business strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, procurement, and finance to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
Requirements:4+ years of significant technology transactions experience, preferably in an in-house environment, working on a wide variety of technology transactions including but not limited to SaaS, licensing, hardware, and other technology licenses. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology contracts with strong issue spotting skills and attention to detail in contract revision. Admission to the bar in a US jurisdictionJD from an accredited institution
