Our client in NYC, a global professional services firm is seeking a corporate controller to provide financial leadership, safeguard assets, support strategic operating decisions to enable long term, profitable growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate thought leadership and collaboration skills, financial aptitude, and the ability to create meaningful reporting for senior management, both month end and analytical. This candidate should also display exceptional accounting, analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to make effective decisions in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
Requirements:7+ years of GAAP accounting, both in public accounting and private industry5+ years in accounting relevant to professional servicesExperience leading a team in production of financialsCritical thinking and decision-making skillsExceptional analytical, report creation and managerial skillsLiaising with auditorsKnowledge of SAP, NetSuite or similar ERP systemCPA required
Duties:Provide over financial leadership, reporting to the CFOSupports cross-functional departments and finance teams in reporting analytics to drive efficienciesPrepare consolidated financials, and provide reviews, analyzes, and provides insights on monthly financial resultsForecasts and assesses financial risks or opportunitiesEvaluate product line profitability, mix and growth opportunitiesAd Hoc projects
