We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to spearhead a critical project – the complete modernization of our data infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to lead a strategic initiative that will fundamentally transform the way we leverage data across the entire organization.
The Challenge
Our enterprise currently relies on a legacy data platform (DB2) with data and applications. This includes a vast volume of reports (4K Infopac, 8K Tableau), data products (100+), and AI/ML models (100+). We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the migration of this entire data ecosystem to a modern cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP will be considered). The ultimate goal is to retire the legacy system (DB2) and unlock the true potential of our data for informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Developing a comprehensive program roadmap, including scoping, milestone mapping, and workstream creation. Anticipating and removing roadblocks to ensure project efficiency and on-time delivery. Managing ambiguity and fostering a collaborative environment amidst complex technical considerations. Building parallel systems to facilitate a smooth transition from legacy to cloud-based infrastructure. Leading and motivating cross-functional teams, including close collaboration with senior and executive leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale data modernization initiatives. In-depth understanding of data migration strategies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data management best practices. Strong program management skills and stakeholder communication. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage complex projects, and prioritize competing demands. Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
