Responsibilities:Thorough knowledge of the menu and wine listTo handle guest requests regarding inquiries on food, beverage, and serviceTo ensure that all liquor stock levels are maintained and correct ordering procedures are carried out. To ensure the wine cellar is clean and well stocked at all timesExplain and sell wines to guests according to restaurant standards
Qualifications:Knowledge of French Wines & pronunciationsAble to explain and sell all wines to guestsPrevious wine/sommelier experience (At least 2 years)Self-starter, takes initiativeCritical thinker, problem-solving mentalityOrganizedWSet Certification (Preferred)CMS Certification (Preferred)
