Senior Investment AssociateMarch Capital is a leading LA-based early-growth stage firm that backs inspiring entrepreneurs building mission-critical technology in pursuit of big outcomes. With $1.65B+ in capital over 4 funds and across 25+ market-leading technology companies, March accelerates the digital transformation of cloud-based software, automation, AI & IT infrastructure. Since 2013, March has invested in companies such as CrowdStrike, Expel, Forter, ASAPP, Uniphore, ThoughtSpot, Nile, Generate Biomedicines, and Essential AI. A recent HEC University-Dow Jones Study of 415 funds recognized March Capital as the 7th top performing fund in the world in terms of total returns generated from 2009 to 2018. March is seeking a talented Vice President / Senior Investment Associate to join our growing firm this summer of 2024. This is a unique opportunity to join one of LA’s largest funds to work closely with the investment team on all aspects of the investment process. ResponsibilitiesPerform diligence on potential investments, including market sizing, technology walkthroughs, competitive landscapes, financial modeling, and reference callsConduct market research on industry trends, sectors, and companies and develop a point of viewCreate presentation materials for internal and external consumption, as well as investment memos for dealsTake meetings with entrepreneurs, evaluate investments, and track internal deal flowRepresent March Capital at industry events and build relationships within the startup and investor ecosystemsProvide ongoing support for portfolio companies Qualifications3+ total years of full-time experience in buyside (VC / PE), at a top-tier investment banking / consulting firm, or a leading tech company (B2B SaaS / AI)Analytical mindset; able to conduct financial analysis and synthesize large amounts of data to summarize diligence findingsStrong verbal and written communication; able to draft in-depth investment memos clearly outlining merits and risks of an investmentHigh level of maturity and ability to work both in teams and independentlyPassion for investing, new technologies, and startupsOptional: An advanced degree, such as an MBA Application ProcessTo be considered for this position, please apply here and submit the following to recruiting@marchcp.com:Resume and LinkedIn profileParagraph recommending a startup where you would consider an investment
