Marvin Windows is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team and help shape our network for the future. The Senior Network Engineer position is responsible for maintaining and administering our company's IT networks. This includes designing and engineering solutions for critical infrastructure initiatives to develop and maintain a vision for the corporate Network infrastructure. Work with team members and local site administrators to implement a networking environment. This position’s main responsibilities will be responsible for SDWAN (Meraki) and Network Security/Firewalls (Palo Alto) as well as provide support as needed during escalations.

Highlights of your role

• Provide technical direction and support related to the enterprise network structure.
• Collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze and validate the information needs and functional requirements.
• Protecting the environment by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
• Work with technology vendors to provide solutions that are effective for the enterprise.
• Provide technical leadership for deployment and support teams.
• Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
• Ensure stability in the production environment – before, during, and after system changes.
• Develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships with business and IT teams Provide 3rd level support as needed.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including occasionally outside of normal business hours.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Strong understanding of Network security and Firewalls Experience in Network Segmentation Knowledge of SDWAN technologies (Meraki) Serve as subject matter expert for company initiatives that require guidance with network requirements. Enterprise level networking knowledge with multiple locations distributed throughout the country. Ability to build accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network systems. High Level of understanding and demonstrated ability in various network routing protocols Configuring firewalls, routing, switching and wireless to maximize network efficiency and security. Firewall experience including design and implementation. Strong work ethic, proven self-starter, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Also want to make sure you have

Bachelors in IT networking, or other closely related engineering field or the equivalent amount of related work experience. 3+ years as a Network Engineer with responsibility in Firewall, LAN, WAN technologies
