📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
- New Controller opportunity with an expanding restaurant chain management business in Arizona!
- Newly created role to help this fast-growing management company, first time in-house, working under a visionary leadership group.
- Oversee 3rd party accounting/bookkeeping service, reviewing daily accounting transactions, directing month-end close, preparing financial statements and performing P&L analysis.
- Monitor and review payroll, manage tax filings, oversee expense policies, credit card merchant services, gift card programs, finding cost saving opportunities, designing and implementing enhanced accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare annual budgets, multi-year forecasting, ROI analysis.
- Monitor and review in-store operations metrics, identifying stronger processes and growth opportunities.
- Ideal for 7+ years, restaurant industry experience a MUST, comp range to $200K DOE + bonus/profit sharing, full benefits, 3 days a week in-office in Tempe.
- Experience with POS systems, cloud based ERP (Intacct) a huge plus, as is CPA (not required).
