The Material Planning Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory control, completing jobs in Radius, and updating pricing files. The Material Planning Coordinator will report to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

Inventory analysis of coated or inventoried products to ensure min/max levels are maintained to achieve customer needs. Achieve the goal of > 98% OTIF through communication, tracking, and process improvement within the team. Completion of slitter and coater jobs in the Radius system. Forecasting demand versus capacity to maintain lead times at competitive market levels. Continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce risks of aged materials. Quarterly pricing update and publication based on CDI. Support a safe working environment and encourage a positive risk-free work environment. Lead monthly physical inventory counts as required and assigned. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent required Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to input formulas, and perform analysis of data for accuracy, tracking, and reporting. Ability to be a self-starter with strong organizational skills; goal-oriented. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and team player. Must be able to work at a computer, sitting at a desk, and utilize phone, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. daily to fulfill duties. Must be able to move about in the office and plant in a safe manner; minimal travel to customer sites and facilities may be required.
