Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow and vascular abnormalities in patients of all ages. Responsibilities: - Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using high-frequency sound waves to visualize blood vessels and assess blood flow.- Evaluate and interpret ultrasound images to identify abnormalities, such as arterial blockages, venous thrombosis, or vascular malformations.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions.- Maintain accurate patient records and ultrasound documentation, including image capture, measurements, and diagnostic impressions.- Adhere to established protocols and safety standards for ultrasound equipment operation and patient care. Qualifications: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.- RVS, RPHS, or RVT certification under CCI or ARDMS in Vascular Sonography required.- Proficiency in performing a wide range of vascular ultrasound procedures, including carotid, arterial, and venous studies.- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to vascular imaging.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a multidisciplinary team.- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) preferred.
