Maybe you are the right person to help take the journey to reach our next milestone!Position Summary:In this role you will be accountable for the operational management of an 18 bay PACU (10 for inpatient surgical procedures and 8 for outpatient surgical procedures), including efficient and effective management of human, fiscal, and material resources. Coordinating patient care and care delivery processes. Ensuring a culture of safety, quality, service excellence, professionalism, personnel development, and team collaboration that supports the Middlesex Mission and the Department of Nursing vision, philosophy and strategic plan. Minimum qualifications:A Registered Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and is currently licensed to practice in the state of Connecticut2-3 years of CCU/ICU, PACU or ED experienceMaster’s Degree (initiated within 1 year, completed within 3 years)Bachelor’s Degree or higher in NursingPreferred qualifications:Masters in NursingProfessional certification: ANCC Nurse Executive or AONL Nurse Leader (within 2 years hire)2 years of experience in healthcare leadership role(s)Comprehensive Benefits Offered:Competitive and affordable health benefits (total rewards package)403(b) retirement plan with company matchingPaid holidays, time off and sick timeWellness rewards programQuick commute access from I-84, Route 9 and surrounding areasFree parking with shuttle drop-off service…and much more!
