What You’ll Do:Develop new products, applications, and services to power our business while improving and maintaining existing onesUtilize oral and written communication skills to share and align on technical designs. Demonstrate urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion, all while tracking towards bigger OKRsShare your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering communityCollaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowermentUtilize programming languages like JavaScript, Python, SQL, Node, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Basic Qualifications: (cannot be changed)Bachelor’s DegreeAt least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
Preferred Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Javascript, React. JS, Node. JS, and Typescript3+ years working with Postgres, Cassandra, and the SQL language2+ years of experience in Agile practices1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service1+ years of experience in open source frameworks
