Our client, a well-known Investment Bank in Midtown, NY, is looking to add an Application Developer to work on their Sales & Trading Team! Responsibilities of this position include gathering and analyzing business requirement and design documents, developing and maintaining new trading system application and interfaces in Excel VBA and SQL, and running UAT to resolve any issues. The ideal candidate will come with at least five years' experience in trading application development, exceptional communication skills, and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel VBA and SQL.
Responsibilities Include:Gathering and analyzing business requirement and design documents to develop new trading applicationsUtilizing Excel VBA and SQL to develop and maintain new interfaces and functionsRun User Acceptance Testing, document results, and troubleshoot any issues during the testing phase
Requirements:At least five years' experience working on a trading floor in trade application development for a large investment bankExceptional capabilities in Microsoft Excel VBA and SQL, Python experience is a plusAdvanced written and verbal communication skills
