Our client, a leading financial software company is hiring a Credit/Collections Officer to join their team in Plano, TX!
- *This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits & paid holidays**
The Credit/Collections Officer will be joining the Payment Solutions Department and be responsible for answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to clients who are past due on their accounts.
Responsibilities:Recover company losses by obtaining payments from delinquent clientsSet up payment plans based on budget information provided by clients, and calculate the amount a client can afford to pay each month based on that budgetLook over account history and identify any past problems or potential future problems when setting up payments or discussing a settlementRequest that each client make their due payment or make arrangements to begin paying off the delinquent account
Desired Skills:Highschool Diploma/GEDPrior collections experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Ability to deal with customer issues and attitudes
